It did not take
long for Snorkelift machines to become the industry standard.

Snorkel first entered the industrial/commercial market with its
Snorkelift telescoping boom aerial work platform in 1977. This new
product line incorporated years of experience gained by serving the fire
fighting industry, especially innovative hydraulic and electrical
systems, as well as aluminum telescoping booms. Because of their
extensive experience prior to manufacturing commercial equipment, they
had a leg up on other companies developing self propelled work platforms
at the same time.

Over the years there has been continual innovation in the Snorkelift
product line. They now have telescoping and articulating/telescoping
booms with a range of from 37' to 126' ground to platform height. This

the boom lift industry.
